RES is in the early stages of a potential 9 turbine wind farm, with the possibility of energy storage, located north of Brechfa Forest - approximately 12 miles north-east of Carmarthen and 2 miles east of the village of New Inn.

Environmental, technical, and engineering survey work has been undertaken to assess the site's viability and a Scoping Report was submitted to the Planning Inspectorate for Wales in August 2016.

Over the coming months, a comprehensive programme of stakeholder consultation will be communicated to the local community to enable local people to understand any future proposals and provide valuable feedback.
