EIA SCOPING REPORT

In August 2016 RES submitted an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Scoping Report to the Planning Inspectorate for Wales (PINS).

A copy of the EIA Scoping Report, along with supporting figures, can be viewed and downloaded via the links to the right.

EIA is a means of drawing together, in a systematic way, an assessment of a project's likely significant environmental effects. This helps to ensure that the importance of the predicted effects, and the scope for reducing them, are properly understood by the public and the decision maker.

The purpose of the scoping report is to inform PINS, statutory consultees, and other stakeholders about the proposed scope of the EIA, the findings of which will be presented in the Environmental Statement (ES) that will accompany any subsequent planning application for the project.
